  1. Recently I bought a replacement filter for Hamilton Beach 04,161 that has worked perfectly for the past 3 years. The new filter produces filtered air filled with a strong musty smell like a wet dog. I returned the filter and has another problem with replacing it. If I leave the unit running, the room is suddenly filled with the stench. Not so with the filter of age or if I run the air purifier with carbon pre just inside the filter. I am willing to give up this thing! Rating: 1 / 5

  2. These are the best filters for air purifiers best I have found. We use them in our rooms and take one with us in our travels. Never stay in a motel, hotel or resort without running our air cleaner. Having the same bacterial / virus light used by hospitals and two filters makes it an ideal asset for our trips. Hamilton Beach has been a trusted name for years. My doctor prescribed by the Hepa filter system. Rating: 5 / 5

  4. I have found that the HEPA filter to be excellent, it is clear that traps a lot of dust and needs no replacement for about 6-9 months, depending on the medium ambiente.Esta is definitely a good buy. Just make sure that the HEPA filter is an OEM supplied by Hamilton Beach. Rating: 5 / 5
